The African Grey Parrot is more visibly bigger than their closest cousins the Timneh African Grey parrot and  has a distinctive and sturdy appearance that makes it easy to recognize. With a robust build and an average weight of around one pound (400 grams), these birds require a spacious living environment and regular exercise to stay healthy and active.
