Birds are transported in special facilities-with the same pressure and temperature as the cabin. We ship year-round, depending on severe weather conditions, airline-specific requirements, or receiving airports in case it may not be safe to transport birds safely. We generally prefer that all families come and pick up their birds in person, but for those not within driving distance, we offer person-to-person deliveries through important airlines. Airfreight costs vary from one airline to another, but without free shipping, it’s usually around $80-$200 nationwide. Distance is not the only determining factor.
