Health and Entertainment for your Keel-Billed Toucan
Toucans’ large beaks may be an adaptation to help their defenses as they swing and peck. Another positive transformation of the toucan’s beak allows them to reach for and pluck berries dexterously. Finally, these birds are social animals that nest and flock together in familial groups. They like to playfully sword-fight, fence with their beaks, and toss fruit to one another.
Key differences between parrot and toucan beaks

Diet Toucans
Toucans, which belong to the toucan family, thrive on a diet that includes high-quality, low-iron pellets and fresh fruits. Pellets should constitute approximately 50% of their overall diet. In the wild, they primarily consume fruits and insects, but they also use their large, strong beak to steal eggs and young birds from the nests of other species.
